Must play!
Alnmouth, or Foxton as it's also known, is a beautiful course, with fabulous views of the Northumberland coast. It's hard, the front nine has some very long par 4s, but it's very fair and a course you won't forget. Always in great condition, and always great to play.Reviewer Rating

I had the pleasure of playing this course recently and it was in amazing condition. The greens were very fast and true, accepting shots from height very well. The location is great and the value is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Great Course
Beautiful course, some really long par fours so you'll need to chip and putt well. Even if the golf is not going well, the scenery is spectacular.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 83 Handicap: 11.3)

Absolutely beautiful course, parklands but on the coast so quite windy. Greens and Tees in outstanding condition for time of year.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 81 Handicap: 12.7)

Fantastic Course and Club
Absolutely fabulous course, really windy conditions made it very difficult, but a pleasure to play on a course of that standard. Hospitality and facilities of a very high standard at very reasonable prices(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 56 Handicap: )

Brilliant for a weekend!
A group of us had a great weekend playing 2 rounds of golf & staying in the Dormy House. The accommodation while not 4 star is clean & adequate, the food was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly!! The golf course was well prepared despite having quite a lot of work being done repairing bunkers & tees. It was a pleasure to play and I look forward to playing it again. Must visit course
Second visit here and it really is a great place for a golf weekend.All staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food and drink are of a really good standard.
Will certainly return at some point in the future as it is a great set up.

lovely track with some great views over the coast
Really lovely course with great facilities. Good variation of holes and some long par 4s playing off the whites. Greens were receptacle and true. Course is in great condition. Good driving range set up and practise chipping green/putting green. The driving range isnt under cover which would be nice because of the location but overall its a good set up.Would happily play here again.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Excellent golf course and bargain green fee with mygreenfees. A little slow going at times though(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 87 Handicap: 13.3)

Very nice course neat and tidy ,fairways and greens in very good condition these greens are the best I have played this year. This course has dog legs,water hazards and well placed sandy bunkers .For ?18 after 3.00pm this is one place I have penciled in for a future visit. also the members I spoke too we're very friendly.
