Le Golf Parc de Nantilly
(Normandy, France)
Built on around 100 hectares of sprawling waterways and bordered by hills lush with a wide variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, Le Golf Parc Nantilly is as beautiful as it is demanding. The former personal course of the late press magnate Robert Hersant, 15,000 trees were planted in its creation including Sequoias, Douglas firs and Gingkoes which help contribute to some absolutely stunning views, especially in Autumn. Designed by Ronald Fream, this American-style layout features generous fairways which give plenty of room to play around the water obstacles, of which there are many. The greens are very large and some have several plateaus making long putting quite tricky. The addition of several island greens makes the course look even prettier, however they might not lead to such a pretty scorecard!

Golf de Saint-Saëns
(Normandy, France)
Saint-Saëns is a 6,572 yard, par 71 course carved through a 200-acre estate next to the Eawy forest, reputed to be one of the most beautiful beech groves in France. Its charm lies in a blend of beauty and diversity, making it a good testing golf course. There are three distinct sections: the valley (crossed by the river "la Varenne"), the forest (narrow fairways and enclosed greens surrounded by trees) and the high plateau (hilly, bunkers, wind). The clubhouse is installed in the 19th century castle.
