Very good for a council course , well kept greens but fairways are a bit ropey , overall a good course

Superb municipal course
Well worth a visit still wet in places but drying out very well once dry it is a superb location offering various challenges.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: )

Had a nice early round yesterday morning. Sorry to say but the course seemed that wasn't getting the upkeep that it needed. Greens were good, but the grass on the fairways seemed very long, even for the start of October. Course was boggy in parts, but for a council run course and £10 green fees it was ok.

Good course, still some wet areas a round course and grass needs cutting on fairways. But really enjoyed round and a few drink's in the Lodge.

practise round really enjoyed it tee off 12 noon weather held out virtually course to myself

A good course, whether you are a beginner or a low handicap. As a beginner I like the layout. A few hazards to keep you on your toes but not too many to put you into trouble every hole and get fed up. Keeps the round enjoyable.
