Fantastic course but tough

Played this course for first time although played it's sister course O'Connor a couple of years ago. Impressive set up, friendly staff, great clubhouse. Top practice facilities, free range balls. Green fees include a buggy which is needed to get round this long course. Course itself in immaculate condition, greens mint. Need to be driving straight to score, any bad shots punished by plenty of bunkers or penal rough. Back nine starts off very tough, a few blind holes so need to plot your way round a bit, something I was not able to do at times. Would return to experience the course again and hopefully play it better.

Portugese masters treat

What a treat playing on the course a week before the PGA masters, although there was much activity building stands and catering tents etc the Victoria staff could not have been more customer focused. The course was in great condition and the overall experience could have been bettered.

Best Course I've Played

Challenging, rewarding, with unique character. A joy with every stroke. Facilities are just a different class. Not possible to attack the course but respect it and you'll be rewarded

unbelievable course, very testing, a lot of blind shots over rock and desert feel. Greens in unbelievable condition, very true. Would love to play this course again
