Silves is a serene spot at the foot of the Monchique mountain, but it is anything other than 'a walk in the park' - a drive at the opening hole has to flirt with water hazards on both flanks.
This course is for players - low handicaps will find it a serious challenge to come in under par. But high handicaps (with concentration) will be able to enjoy their round.

A superb course with some quick and consistant greens. Some of the views and tee positions are fantastic. A must for any golfer.

Probably the best course we played on in The Alvor/Algarve this year.Some good thinking holes and a good test of your ability.

Course easy to play with well kept fairways and greens which you really could go for the pin. Only 2 negative comments 18th does not have a grand finish and we had to sick to the path with the carts even roped for to stop you going on, therefore hard to judge you clubs. Staff very helpful and polite.
