What the club says: Eleven Arches is an 18 hole golf course ideal for all seasons. It's fairways and greens are kept in great condition all year round and though the golf is testing there are no moutains to climb. The scenery and wildlife around Eleven Arches is simple beautiful.

This is a lovely experience which starts with a friendly welcome from very helpful staff . Five 9hole courses gives excellent options and a 9 hole beginners course is sadly under used. The course is always in excellent condition and fairly long with some difficult holes. The clubhouse is not licensed depriving the owners of considerable income although hot drinks and meals are available . A very welcoming enjoyable experience

Good challenging course , plenty of water hazards , fairly tight fairways so your driving has to be accurate , greens could be better but it is a new course and they will get better in time . Has driving range but no clubhouse or shop . Very good value for money though , overall not bad at all .

Very good course makes you think the way around and not driver off every tee.
Greens are poor with it been new, like Matthew says give it a few years and it will be a gem

A new course opened on outskirts of Bishop Auckland in June 2008. Not a long course but very unforgiving in terms of lots of water and very thick long rough. Very new and will be nice once course beds in.
