I returned to El Valle for the third year in a row having been very impressed with it the first time I played it. Unfortunately, the standard and the condition of the course has deteriorated year on year. We played off the yellow tees which were on the ladies tee for 15 out of the 18 holes (effectively teeing off from the fairway), completed spoiled they holes!! Not only that, to compensate for the dramatic reduction in yardage, the pin positions were tucked away in some ridiculous positions. The tees themselves were very poor with very little grass on them and the greens were the worst we played on over the 4 days golf (bumpy and slow) Lo Romero, La Manga and La Torre all far superior. Generally disappointed because the layout out of the course and backdrop are amazing.
