Will
Some challenging holes, great views across Essex. The greens however are in very poor condition lots of bare patches and so uneven j gave up putting.Reviewer Rating

Poor greens
The course in general is quite good, some interesting holes, some easy, some quite difficult. The fairways are in reasonable condition considering this summers weather but the greens are awful needing some serious attention. Cheap and cheerful.Reviewer Rating

Ok
Haven't played here for couple of years. Greens were not good. Fairways were good. Layout was good. Nice enjoyable round if you don't take it seriouslyReviewer Rating

Ok for a cheap round
Tee boxes and fairway ok, not long cut and look reasonably well kept. Greens are awful, hadn't been cut in days, full of thatch, bumpy due to moss and long tufts of grass across all greens, impossible to get a decent lineReviewer Rating

Great value for money course
Always enjoy Dunton Hills, it's a longish course with some interesting holes, the greens are never great and very small to hit but always challenging. Clubhouse bar and food still not open can only get machine hot and cold drinks and crisps etc which is still a disappointment hence the low facilities scoreReviewer Rating

Great little course to practice your short game
Nice little course to practice your short game. Bunkers out of play currently. Not a lot of hazards to test you though.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 71 Handicap: 23.6)

Not the most interesting course
Played here because other local courses were waterlogged, probably should have been closed too.Very strange that clubhouse not properly functioning, needed to ask for drink in the starters office
and was brought into the club. Very nice and friendly lady in the office.

Good value
for a turn up and play course this has to be the best value for money in the area. No tee bookings required. The fairways are wide and some of the holes are challenging but they could do with a grass removal attachment on the fairways as it was full of cut grass. The greens were in reasonable condition but still worth playing especially as 18 holes is only ?14 clubhouse restrictions apply with no food or drink available apart from cold drink bottlesReviewer Rating
