Awful
Fairways were not cut and like the rough. Losing balls on the fairway is not the way to play golf!! Greens were poor as well.Reviewer Rating

How this is called a golf course is behind belief! The owners should be charged with fraud....... Greens! if that’s what you can call them are horrendous, Patches of mud on the greens, so many holes, sand everywhere and what looked like human excrement on them. To many non playing golfers who do not understand the rules of golf. This place good be a very good golf course but I’ve never ever seen greens like these. They should pay you to play here! Spend some money and improve your course.

Played here last week in the evening.Arrived at 5.30 and for nine holes.After about 10 minutes we eventually found the first tee.No clear signs to tell you where to go.The Tees Fairways are not too bad but the Greens are the worst I've played on.They are dry but far too soft full of brown patches and too long in places.Anyway it was a nice evening so we took our time to go round,nobody else on course,and finished our nine holes.On our arrival back to the car park I could here someone shouting at us.It was the bloke who I had paid for the round shouting across the car park have you just finished nine holes?yes I replied we didn't hurry.why did it take so long he asked becoming more aggressive.He had a woman standing next to him so I asked if he was waiting to go home.NO he shouted i want to know why 9 holes took so long then stomped off and sat in a buggy.I said to him what difference does it make how long we were when we were the only ones on the course not holding up play etc.He didn't answer and just sat in his buggy.Nice way to finish the day.Overall poor greens really rude miserable staff,if you play here make sure you jog round or face the wrath of the miserable staff.Handicap 18 score 47

Incredibly boring open golf course with only a few decent holes. Unplayable in winter but they still allow play from shorter temp tees. Decent clubhouse and arrival impression. Grim driving range.

Absolutely terrible course, words can not describe how bad this place is. I paid £20, and felt like walking off after the first hole. The greens are a state and the fairways...are rough. Terrible!

Has the potential to be a nice course but so let down by conidition from the tee box, to fairways (more like a 1st cut of rough) to greens (one had big GUR in the middle) I definitely will not be returning. Condition like a pitch and putt course in a local park, that bad. \(Round played 18/10/2014 - Score 99 Handicap 26)

Today me and my dad went over the dunton hills golf course to play the 18hole par 3 and it was unplayable because every hole was covered in water and likewise with the greens, also the bunkers were overflowing with water, and we had to play of temporary tees which were covered in water/woodchips. We went in to pay for 18 holes but weren’t told what the conditions would be like. It would of been nice to be told the conditions to pay for 9 holes, in my opinion the course should be closed for now until they sort out a proper drainage system. We were only able to play 9 holes due to the poor conditions. It cost £29(including trolleys) to play. I think its a disgrace. I would just like to know the clubs comments on why me and my dad wern't informed on the condidtions. My dad is a member of Orsett golf club and he's trying to help me to play golf which a par 3 will help me. My friends and I who try and play the par 3 courses will not be using this course in the summer. Lets see if the owners or management would like to comment on this, one very unhappy 15 year old.

Gone down hill over the past few years, I have played this course many times and the greens andd tees have just got worse.

Not the most interesting course
Played here because other local courses were waterlogged, probably should have been closed too.Very strange that clubhouse not properly functioning, needed to ask for drink in the starters office
and was brought into the club. Very nice and friendly lady in the office.

Nice course shame they haven't spent more time on the greens as they need alot of work on them to get them up to standard and could do with opening the clubhouse
