Mijas Golf - Los Olivos
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, Los Olivos incorporates an abundance of trees to test the golfer. This fine track offers a different challenge to its sister course as it features narrow tree-lined fairways with smaller undulating greens. Well known for its great condition, this woodland layout compliments Los Lagos superbly well.Contact Information

Course Information
Course Designed by Robert Trent Jones SnrLocation
Location: From Marbella Drive along the national highway N-340 along the coast in the direction of Málaga. Take the exit for Parque Acuático Mijas (Mijas Water Park). Once you reach the roundabout, follow the road to Coín - the MA-426 - in the direction of the mountains. The signs indicating "Hotel Byblos" can be followed to reach Mijas Golf. From Málaga - Airport: Take the national highway A-7 along the coast bypassing Fuengirola. Take the exit for the Coín road -MA-426- just after an overhead pedestrian Bridge where the words "Bienvenidos a Las Lagunas" can be seen. Look out for and follow signs for "Campo de Golf", "Carretera de Coín" or "Hotel Byblos". Ignore any sign for Mijas pueblo (Mijas Village).

When we went the greens had been spiked and topped with sand and were in very poor condition. No discount was offered. I was very disappointed with the overall condition of the course at a very expensive 70 euros.

A great course to play if you have you have lost confidence in your game. It should return here. Most of the fairways have width and the stray shots can be recovered. Useful attributes if this is your first game for a while.

Los Lagos - Quite a flat course, but interesting holes nevertheless. Only the bunkers let the course down.

Some challenging holes and good greens, but the bunkers let the course down badly - not sand but ground rock, and not much of it!

great course very forgiving but challenging in parts. really lovly fairways and it has a great elivated tee on one hole. great course if your not brilliant. second best couse i have played in spain up to now

If i'm ever in Spain, Mijas gets a visit. great place for a day out, start with a ham & cheese toastie, coffee & orange juice, followed by a stint on their range & some short game practice on one of two greens. Finish with an ice cold beer in the bar. Both courses are majestic & challenging. This is said to be the most popular golfing resort on the costa del sol.....and i'm not surprised.
