Possibly one of the best courses in Europe. Right handers need to be able to fade the ball accurately and drive the ball over 250yds off the tee.

top notch course certainly in my top two or three in the world , better than valderrama or some of the so called top courses in the costa del golf!!

Having played Monte Rei twice this year and once last year I still rate this as my favourite course in the world. The club house is spectacular and the service from the moment you arrive is first class. The golf course itself is challenging yet playable and always in mint condition. Can't wait to return.

this is how golf should be played, superb facilities, fantastic course designed by jack nicklaus and i was treated as if i was the great man himself, definately red carpet treatment still a lot of work being done, and not cheap, but worh every euro and then some ,if you play a course in portugal make it monte rei
