On holiday in the area and this course was recommended to us. I called and booked a Tee time, arrived on the day and and all was in order, but no buggies availaable, I hadn't pre-booked so was not overly surprised except they only had 3 and it looked like members only. Cost was 45 euros each which I thought was about right, until I played the course.
Tees and light rough are uncut and unkempt, the Greens are awful, diseased and reduced in size, drainage in some areas is bad with boggy, sodden patches, especially in the forest holes. The overall course condition is poor, not worth 45 euros! This course needs serious remedial maintenance and upkeep before I would consider recommending it, which is a shame because the layout is good and there are several interesting challenging holes. Clubhouse is basic, but clean and the staff friendly

Played this in Sept 2015 and it is awful. Greens are in most cases diseased and reduced in size due to poor grass , the fairways are narrow with the light rough poorly cut, exposing large areas of \'bents\' clumps if overgrown weeds. The tees are shocking, uncut and unkempt. It\'s a shame because the course itself is actually very interesting and a good test if golf, but some serious work needed to bring it back into condition. Not cheap either, 45 euros a round in mid week , no buggies available, they have 3 apparently. Club house us a best a cafe.\I have no idea why the previous review was so high, in England this would be a very poor Municipal course.

This is a very good course in the South West of France, the first 5 holes are through pine woods with a couple of long par 5s at the 2nd and 4th. After this the course opens out to an open parkland with some deceptively hard holes and hidden bunkers. The first hole is out over a lake so can be quite intimidating for someone new to the course.

The views from the last part of the course are over the Lac de Casteljaloux and the Landaise forests.

The course is generally sandy and well drained, so can be played throught the year, and the fairways are kept watered during the summer.

There is a large driving range and pitch and putting practice facilities available to non-members.

There is a restaurant available which is open lunch times only for members or visitors and the bar is always open for drinks.
