Open to all the elements on the end of the Fanad peninsula, when the wind gets up it is a tricky course making accuracy a pre-requisite. Wonderful looking links course in a quiet area of Donegal, all holes are lined by sand dunes often covered in thick, clinging rough, straight driving is at a premium and some fairways are very narrow. The greens were very quick and true. The views are stunning and special mention to the 2nd and the 14th as particularly attractive holes. The welcome in the club was war and the bar area affords great views of the course and the stunning blue flag beach!

Fantastic best Golf Course I have ever played very friendly staff and members and very difficult course. They hold regular competions which are good for all ages and genders.

The addition of a 1000yards has turned Portsalon from a good links course to one of the best. A test for any golfer, even on a calm day
