Hart Common Golf Club
There is plenty of room on our course for you to stay in play and be rewarded for doing so. Miss our broad fairways and you will be in the rough, some of which is almost links like, thin wispy grab your club type, other areas it is just plain thick rough. Our greens are gaining a reputation for being some of the best around everybody enjoys putting on them. Bunkers and enhanced natural water hazards will keep you thinking about your golf all the way through your round. Club selection is not likely to be the same each time you visit as we are blessed with a breeze that rarely blows in the same direction or strength two days running! There has been a great deal of thought, work and effort that has gone into making sure our members and visitors are able to enjoy our course all year round. 1st time I played the course today I thoroughly enjoyed it, only gripe would be that there needed to be clearer indication of where the next hole is.

1: The course is excellent. The greens have been played on all winter (so have the tees) and are showing no ill effects to it. I doubt there are very many (if any) better putting surfaces around. The course is challenging with no 2 holes being the same. Big greens, tees and bunkers and dry fairways. If you've not played Hart Common since the rebuiling work now is the time.
2: Good value and friendly clubhouse, buggies available at very reasonable rates, nice big range and a great little par 3 course, everything covered.
3: Cheaper to play than most munis, which says it all really!
4: Best new course in the north west by some distance, well worth a visit.

The course is developing quite dry and the greens are v good but the overall set up is only fair, a bit rough and ready in places. You can see that they are working to make it better...12 months time should be better!

as is usual for this course due to the remodeling the layout has changed again being a pay and play member its like playing a diffrent course every coupl of months but due to all the fine weather the course is playing great and the greens are A+ must get my cards in then i can play in comps though
