Westhoughton Golf ClubThe Club was established in 1929 and was originally a 9 hole course. In 2005 the course was ecxtended to 18 holes. The course is a challenging test of golf with the new front nine holes being open scenic with superb greens. The back nine holes - the original course - are much tighter holes with tree lined fairways and with equally superb greens.

Golf course review of Westhoughton Golf Club

Played here with a society and was made very welcome by the members and staff. The course was originally only 9 holes but once the newish front 9 matures to match the original back 9 it will be a great course. The course is set up superbly and the greens are very tricky for the novice where touch and pace are required to lag the ball close to the hole.
