Wyboston Lakes Golf Centre is a superb 18 hole,
par 70 golf course set in 350 acres of picturesque countryside amongst lakes and alongside the banks of the River Great Ouse. The 5916 yards long course offers some challenging holes for all standards of golfer, including the 3rd, 5th and 7th which are testing par 3s surrounded by water.Contact Information

Interesting course in good condition, a lot of water as the name of the course suggests, strategy needed from a number of tees rather than outright distance. Rounds can be quite slow after 8-9am at weekends but generally fine. Overall a challenging and interesting course for mid-high handicap players.

I found the quality of the surroundings and greens fantastic.The staff were very welcoming,and helpful.
The golf was a good challenge with water hazards tempting the golfer to drive for the greens.I will certainly be going back, and speak highly of the course.

Played there today, greens and fairways a bit long, others very good, sure there has been no cutting over the weekend, fairway cuter does not make way for the golfer, you have to play round them, breakfast was good, however, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for three english breakfasts, served by a very chirpy efficient young lady called kirsty, drinks are a tad pricey, £7.50 for two pints of coke and one pint of orange and lemonade, would I go back? yes, £15.50 for 18 holes and a trolley

Playing on Sunday 15th August 2010 I found the course easy to get to, and when there, there is a decent driving range the other side of the car cark to warm up in, followed by both a putting and chipping green, though the chipping is right next to the first tee and so you need to stop whilst people tee off.
The twilight tee price of £15 after 1600hrs is extremely good value, but £20 is still well worth it.
The staff in the pro shop were very helpful and there was a reasonable amount of product available. The changing rooms are accessed virtually straight from the car park and are not locked in any way, so heed the warnings and don't leave things there.
Getting out on the course, the tees, fairways and greens were all in very good condition, the greens were very receptive, fairly quick, but as a municipal course I think there's plenty of people who don't worry too much about things like repairing pitch marks. The holes are well designed and tight enough, with as it would suggest, plenty of water which has to be considered and routes which mean it is frequently something other than a driver off the tee.
After the round, the club house looked inviting, but was apparently being used for a wedding reception or similar which we decided not to interrupt, so I can't comment on the clubhouse.
i look forward to returning and playing more here.

Loads of hols with water near by so you have to be playing well not to lose to many balls but this is well worth the geenfee
