Interesting and demanding course. Went as part of 2 rounds and a room type deal at the weekend, however this was very busy with a wait at each tee box.

We played a couple of weeks ago after a summer of rain, but the course for an inland course wasn't affected by the rain at all. Greens were a little on the slow side but to be expected for a hotel course rather than a members playing course. Rough was long if you decided to cut some of the corners off the course, but equally achievable. Fairly short in length but rather than blasting a driver all the time, it made for a pleasant change.

Considering the rain that was constant this week the course had held up surprisingly well. The only down point for it was the 7th green which was more like a river than a green.

Course in good condition, considering the weather we have had.
Our society arrived, to be told no buggies and no electric golf carts to be used with batteries -as this had occured the previous days, a phone call the day before would have been courteous as we have players who neeed to use a buggy.

a little disappointed, although it was very wet, i expected better drainage, by the time i got to the back nine, all the greens were flooded, and it only started raining as i began my round. the greens were not in perfect shape either alot of bobbles

Wokefield Park is a fairly long parkland course, but the fairways are wide enough to allow you to have a go from the tee. There are some nice holes and you don't get the feeling of going "up and down", and certainly on a warm summer's night it's a great place to play.

On the downside, I have had some long rounds here though, and to get the most out of the course you need to look for some online deals.

The facilities here are also pretty good, but bar prices seem to be aimed at the business/expense rate and so aren't cheap.

Overall though this is a great course and one worth playing.
