Played the GTour event here on Saturday 16th April.
Really like the course, but a practice round would have saved me a few shots!
Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were in a good condition.
Good practice facilities, although the practice chipping green had long grass on it so you could not compare it with what would happen on the course.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Liked the course a lot. Quite long which suited me and huge greens. big bunkers and plenty of them. Quite a lot of water too.
The only thing with De Vere courses are the quality of the greens I just don't think they are good enough for a championship standard course and the greens at Wokefield Park were bumpy,some were slow and nothing like the practice green, others quick.
Still enjoyed playing here though and would recommend it.

Greens are great and quick. Fairways need a bit of rain though. Tough course but easier if you know where to hit it off the tee. Lots of hidden bunkers.

The Greens are now in excellent nick and are running true. They have been bad for a couple of years but there has been lots of work on them and over the last month they have started to come in to their own.

the course could be excellent but for one BIG problem the greens are the worst i have ever played on. and talking to some members they agree that they are bad and have been complaining about them for 2 years.
not going back and you should think twice.

The course is in excellent condition, both fairways and greens, considering the wet winter we have had. Very demanding in poor weather as it is very open, but a very nice course.

Played the course in very bad conditions, and the course was still holding up well considering the amount of rain.
A very good test of golf on a normal day, but when it blows a hooly and rains, its amazingly difficult. Good test for any golfer.

Played a society day on a Saturday for £26:95 including coffee and bacon rolls! Excellent course, open but made you think about every shot. Water used sparingly but sensibly. Busy but never over crowded. Will play again for sure.

A very tough challenging course with water loads of bunkers (fairway and greenside). Hills doglegs long holes trees. A complete test for any golfer. Greens excellent not too quick. Rough in places very difficult straw like grass. Played in extreame winds which made this harder than already is. On grounds of devere hotel with bars restaurants and they do deals all included very near Reading town (7 miles). Excellent value at £26 they also take 241.

great coarse up to the 14th hole then they place temp. greens with out letting anyone know and the temp. greens were just in the fairway unmowed and so practically un putable which was anoying as we were there on a golf break

In good nick despite the greens being holocored...Wokefield is always a testing course to play.
On this occasion a very cheap round thru www.teeofftimes.co.uk @£10 each! bargain.
Just avoid the rough!!
