1st day of our Masters weekend, the weather was officially the worst ever. 80mph winds with sideways rain. Nearly impossible to play the course well. Aswell as lake size standing water

nice course

Attractive as you drive in. Putting green close by. Friendly staff. Flat easy walk. Fairways ok, greens true and 8 on the stimp, some big breakers, and particularly bunkers very good. Obviously well looked after. Nice views, very quiet setting.
Has to be said, very easy with mostly very short par 4's. A bit like a flatter Lundin links. Yet another Scottish course with no warm up net. Clubhouse is as basic as it gets.
We found it quite charming in its own way, works best as a gently flattering introduction to links golf, definitely under rated on here.

We always fir in a round at county if we are down golfing. A good olf fashioned links course!
