Stranraer Golf Club
Creachmore, Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway, DG9 0LF United Kingdom
Stranraer hosts a fabulous coastal parkland course designed by James Braid. Set on the North Rhinns peninsula, with stunning views of the Isle of Arran and Aisla Craig, the course has been carefully contoured over undulating ground that sports a burn to catch out the unwary. This peach of a course is a must for any golfers visiting the area.

It was pleasure to play this course, the down side, is that a few of the fairways run close to each other, but the up side was the views and the superb condition of the course. The club house staff are very friendly and the food was very nice. All in all, a very good day out.

A fine course in terrific condition that caught me on a bad day. Needs to be played more than once to know how to tame it! Clubhouse excellent with good food. Unfortunately the range of beers and lagers is the usual selection of national gassy rubbish.

A terrific test for golfers of all abilities and despite recent and current heavy rain this course is in such terrific condition,it was a treat and a priviledge to play. Credit to the greenkeepers.....I couldn't fault this course at all. Drinks and food in the clubhouse were unbelievably cheap. A definite visit if you are in this part of Scotland.
