A very good 9 hole course. Well kept and very friendly. There is also a 9 hole Foothold course as well. There is a practice putting green and 2 nets to practice your irons n woods.

The course is under new management and you can already start to see the improvements on the course and in the club house.
The greens are in good condition and the fairways have much better definition. We tried their new Big Value Monday offer - 18 holes and food for only £12.00. Great value for money and the food was good also. Well worth a visit.

Little Gem
Built on old pit tops this 9 hole course with 2 different sets of tees makes an interesting 18 hole course.My debut in our rabbits section at this course was completed by being played opposite two great blokes, great food afterwards and a 7-1 win for our lads.
One I'll try and play again.

I played here while passing through the area, there had been lots of rain recently so it was very wet and boggy in places, but the tee boxes and greens were both in great condition\the staff were help and friendly and the clubhouse does hot food and drinkReviewer Rating

Steady 9 Holer

Played whitwood for the first time in nearly 20 years and was quite impressed,Greens were in good condition for this time of year also tee boxes were good aswell,the only negative was the fairways could have been cut (a lot of daisys so making it hard to see your ball).
