very good condition after lots of rain,greens were lovely(and fast),only couple of wet areas(not on fairways or greens) great winter price,high winds not a problem due to lots of tall trees,always score well here(not easy course either)give it a go,youll enjoy

Course condition was fair with generally poor greens with unrepaired pitch marks.
Very little good quality sand in the bunkers making bunker play very difficult to control.
Ground staff seemed oblivious to the fact golfers were on the fairway and carried on cutting near you when about to play a shot or putt on the greens.

recently treated greens a bit bumpy but otherwise in excellent order. Fairways kept in excellent condition.

Could be better
Very good layout with a variety of challenging holes. Greens very fast.Course dried out way too much , dead grass everywhere.
Tees not looked after , struggled finding a divot free patch to play from.
With a bit of love this could be an exceptional track.
Clubhouse and pro shop mint.

I drove passed this course on my way to another.
I did not know it was so close to my town.
It had been raining all week and all day and I was very impressed with the greens and tee's.
Some really good looking holes that made me go for the pins.
It was a easy walk as well.
I will definitely be back and I might even join as I want to play off back tee's which is 7000 yards.

Really enjoyed playing this course, can be testing and makes you think about your game. Great value for money and would highly recommend this course. Will definitely play again.

Great parkland course - long and tough, particularly the front 9 on a windy day. Friendly and welcoming in the club house too....

on a cold wet and windy day this can be a very challenging course but good fun , however having played here a few times in the past I was rather disappointed by the condition of the fairways which were in need of a cut as did the whole course it just felt neglected slightly.

Given the recent wet weather the course was in excellent condition, drainage very good but would expect that as it is on top of the Berkshire Downs. Some lovely views, a pleasure to walk around. A challenge for a mid-handicapper like me, a reality check that highlighted my inability to hit more than 170 yards off the fairway!

although they do not have tee times as such it is a roll up, the course it's self was in perfect codition, some of the fairways were as good as some greens i have played on.
The only thing for me was i only got the chance to use a mid to long iron on 2 of the first 8 holes as i could drive pretty close on most of them.
overall very impressed and i would play there again

Great facilites. Course is very challenging and in places very long, but well maintained. Tricky for the avergae hacker (myself), but would offer a great challenge to the lower handicappers out there
