Interesting course, great views of the White Cliffs. A lot of the holes are played on sloped fairways so you need to think your way around. Greens were good and ran true, many had well placed bunkers to catch errant approach shots. Club house and facilities were ok, unfortunately our group of 12 were slowed down by a society that were starting on the 9th when we arrived.

A proper cliff top links course with all that can entail. A fairly simple start playing up hill to a small green can be simple in good weather but a terror if wind gets up! Well maintained course with well kept tees, fairways and greens. A mixture of straight and doglegged holes, with up hill par 3 and 4 holes all mixed in with demanding par 5's.
Recommended course if discounted green fees can be found. A little pricey if paying full fare.

Lovely course. We played when it was windy which was a challenge. Great views of the channel and course in very nice condition.

great views, nice course some tricky fairways, a couple of them are virtually diagonal! a good test, need to deal with the wind.

Always enjoy playing there. Greens not as good as previous years and while firm were slower than normal. Fantastic views and weather was great

Play here once a year as an annual event. Very hilly clifftop course.
No hole is flat. Fairways have not suffered from lack of watering as on some other courses I have played. Greens have recently been recently and sanded and are not in the best condition but still ran true.

A good test
We were lucky in that it was a very calm day. I'm sure it would have been a different proposition playing in windy conditions. The course looked great and the greens were in good condition. All day breakfast very good value.Reviewer Rating

With current conditions, very dry, fast fairways, and strong winds it proved difficult to play the course. There are steep slopes on most of the holes making it important to be accurate with teexshots. Greens in very good condition. Recommend a buggy if you play here.

As part of a society Kent tour this course was a pleasant surprise. As a high handicapper it was fair and challenging. Not all our players were of the same opinion but overall very enjoyable.
