good holiday golf
Good course - generous off the tee on most holes with errant shots not fully punished - useful if your not very good like me !!! greens were a little ropey - probably due to recent dry weather but need attention - challenging generally with good length to holes with very few you would describe as short or easy- would play again and at £15 for a round in the summer on Monday or Wednesday a bargainReviewer Rating

Attractive parkland course
A very well maintained course. Some great holes with beautiful views over Tenby. Some long par fours but plenty of variety.Reviewer Rating

A warm and friendly welcome is received from the members and the atmosphere derived from the somewhat unorthodox and slightly unusual clubhouse sets you up for what is almost certain to be a pleasurable days golf.
The opening tee shot on this golf course is an immediate test of concentration and course management. With 'out of bounds' down the left hand side and trees on the right, an accurate tee shot is a must.
The opening nine holes at Trefloyne require high levels of concentration, but hit the ball well and you will be rewarded with plenty of birdie opportunities.
The start to the back nine is similar to that of the front, with a strategically placed tee shot required off the tenth tee. Well placed tee shots on the opening holes of the back nine will leave you with relatively short irons into the greens, and the opportunity to give yourself the best chance of making birdies.
The signature hole on the golf course is the long par-4 13th. A lay-up is required off the tee, and then a long iron over the quarry to a relatively small green is what is required from the second. With 'out of bounds' down the right hand side and anything left flying into the quarry, this tough and challenging par-4 is undoubtedly the most difficult on the golf course.
The closing holes require well-struck golf shots to cover their length, and with plenty of internal 'out of bounds' and a lengthy par-5 to finish, high levels of concentration are required to the very last green.
Overall, a very good golf course with a clubhouse to match, unfortunately let down by the lack of practice facilities and the overuse of internal 'out of bounds'. Worth a visit, but if I was to go back I would prefer to pay the extra to play Tenby golf course.

Nice layout of course with some challenging holes. None more so than the 570yd 18th into the wind.
Not bad value at 18pounds.
