What the club says: HHerons brook Golf course is set in 30 acres of beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside overlooking Narberth castle and town close to the seaside reosrt of Tenby. Over the last two years the Golf course has seen major investment to create the 18 hole short course that we now have in play. It is a par 58 course with a yardage of approx 3040 yds. It has several short tricky holes with bunkers and water features and some longer drives like the 18th which is 405 yds.

Played 3 times in a week. Easy to book a start time. Excellent value for money, especially as we had a beginner in our group. The course was in fair condition although the long rough made it difficult to find balls. Several challenging par 3s and a couple of good length par 4s. Good warm-up before playing Tenby!
Played May 2021. Mixed group of HCs.

Terrific

I played the course 2 months ago and I have to say the improvements are brilliant and the greens the best they have ever been’ making it a 9 hole is much better than being 18 hole with Micky mouse holes , definitely worth a round

The course is small 18 hole but offers plenty of challenges. The uniue selling point is that the price to play golf is very reasonable. If you wish to stay they have some cabins.

Herons Brook golf course is a friendly family-run course perfect for anyone wanting to improve their short game. There is no dress-code (I wore jeans, a sweatshirt and trainers) and the equipment (golf clubs and trolly) is free of charge, making it perfect for me as I am a beginner and do not have any golf kit or attire.

I was in a group of four and we paid £10 each for 18 holes which we thought was very reasonable for about 3 and a half hours of golfing. All the facilities you would want are on site including toilets, a small shop to buy tees, balls, gloves and a number of other things and a club-house with hot & cold drinks and snack vending machines.

The course itself is well maintained, with 3 ponds and 13 sand bunkers in all which made it more of a challenge. Overall a very enjoyable course to play and would recommend it to anyone.

Micky mouse course - only good for practicing your short game. Can be dangerous as fairways/tees/greens very close to each other. Poor greens.
