As a member of this course, I have seen the up's and downs of a hard winter. On the plus side, the course stayed open for play but on the negative, this had a really detrimental effect on the greens in particular. As the course dries out, I can see changes in the fairways and the greens will improve. Still in transition from winter state so everything is a little shaggy but still a decent challenge.
Have to say that I would not recommend as a visitor with very steep pay to play prices. Even guest rate with a member is steep.

good shop staff, nice building, course needs alot more grass, the greens are good on about 4 holes the rest are almost temp green quality. worth doing the credit cruncher deal otherwise i would avoid.

So sad to write that the course is still not really playable because it is so wet underfoot. Every time hope of drying out properly comes, then does the next lot of rain. A real dry spell is needed. The green keeping team are working so hard, and the current conditions are totally out of their handsReviewer Rating

Worth a look
Tricky greens but reasonably wide fairways. Bunkers could do with some maintenance work done on them.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 105 Handicap: 22.2)

A nice course
It is a pity the way the greens are being attacked by the birds. Is there nothing that can be done to eliminate the grubs they are after?Bunkers have improved with the weeds removed.

Great to get out and play, considering the circumstances the course was great, greens need work but apart from that pleased to play

Garden Course
Not quite as good as the 18 hole Lakes course, but a good course if you only have time for 9 holes.It's in cracking condition as you'd expect from the Wiltshire, greens ran true if not quite as fast as its neighbour.
There's a couple of bits of water, but it's main defence is knee high grass once you get past the second cut. A couple of strategically placed trees & bunkers also keep you on your toes.

Nice track but greens were in poor condition.
We had a society day at The Wiltshire. We asked about the greens when booking and were advised that they recently done some work on them but by the time we were playing, they'd be sorted. They weren't. The greens were in terible condition and covered in sand. We were given a free four ball return voucher. Whilst a nice gesture, not much use to the majority of our group of 20.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.6)

First time playing The Wiltshire as I scout for a potential new club to join the future. Course was pretty good, some interesting holes with water a factor, some average holes. Fairways were in quite good condition. Greens had been holotined the week before, so were bobbly and very sandy, but had a very good pace to them. Clubhouse/hotel was very clean, nice big bar/restaurant and a spike bar with tv's and pool table. Average prices on food/drink. Nice changing rooms/showers.
All in all, I'd like to play again later in the season when the course is in better nick, but worth a play
