Broome Manor Golf Club
The well-designed championship-standard par-71 18-hole course features water hazards and provides a challenge for all standards of golfer - from beginners to international-standard players. Off the white tees, the superb parkland 18 hole course offers a challenging round of golf, especially down the final stretch with its tough 6 finishing holes. In addition, there is a great 9 hole course, a two-tiered driving range, gymnasium and the Fairways Bar and Restaurant offers excellent catering.

Much better than that! Broome Manor is 'only' a municipal, but has a large number of ground staff, and so is better kept than many a members or private course. Not hugely long, and I agree the back 9 is the harder, but a good test. Large modern 'automatic' driving range. Clubhouse and changing rooms clean, warm and inviting, and the daily 'soup and bread' at a couple of quid is outstanding value. Well worth a visit!
