Cranleigh Golf and Country Club
A tricky yet very playable golf course that focuses the mind on accuracy and strategic shot making rather than all out power driving. Slick greens in the summer and free draining greens and tees in the winter makes for a course good for all seasons. Contact Information

quirky opening four holes, tight fairways, muddy, upside down saucer greens which were recently cored.

Cranleigh is a great short course, in a very rural area. I believe it is now closed to the Public, which is a great shame. Be good if they reopened to the General public, so we could all enjoy their great little course.

Fantastic little course. very short but quick, undulating greens which are well protected. you cannot hit driver on many holes so need to be very accurate off tee to stand a chance of hitting greens in regulation.
Excellent value as 2-for1 accepted, so £10 each.

Great course, you are a little close to other green and tee's, but well worth the $10 i paid on a 241!! will go back and play again and will try Slinfold which is one of the groups clubs...

Recently refurbished clubhouse, gym and pool. Upgrade drainage on the course means even after the terrible weather we have been having it is still as playable as ever. Course is a little short but there are plenty of tricky holes that can catch you out making sure you have to play well to put in a good round.

Quite a short course with a few quirky holes. Course management is the key to playing to handicap. The new club house facilities should now be open (portacabins when we played there) so unable to comment on them.

Played at the end of March 2008, after heavy rain. Fairways were fine, but some rough was very heavy and had trouble with a few plugged balls. Drainage looked very good. We played 36 holes, and the course was drying out all the time. Almost had the course to ourselves, a great way to start a "new season". Only took the Driver out of the bag once, 3 wood was more than good enough for the day. Some tricky putts on a couple of greens, a good test. Trees and bunkers well placed, all made for a very interesting day. 36 holes and cooked breakfast for £30, excellent value. We shall return no doubt.
