Played the Old Course Sept 2012 and while it was beautiful, it was alittle frustrating with a few too many blind tee shots and rediculously fast greens. I still managed to shoot 82 but it wasn't as much fun as I was expecting. Went back last month and played the New Course and enjoyed it alot more. Again a beautiful course, but a more fair test of golf. While still a par 70; it had three par fives and five par threes and only a couple of blind or semi-blind tee shots, otherwise the course was laid out in front of you. Green speed was much more reasonable on this visit and combined with some good ball striking I managed to come up with a 77. I'd love to go back and play both on the same day just for kicks.

One of the classics in the UK, this is a must play course. Make sure you have the famous sausage sandwich at the halfway house

Love, Love, Love this course!!
If you should ever be granted an opportunity to play at Sunningdale - on either course- take it. You will not be disappointed. They aren't the longest courses but they are such a good test, and the conditions every time I've played there have been immaculate. Possibly my favourite place to play.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.3)

Fantastic golf course, very well maintained, day was cloudy and cool. The heather is really hard to cope with but it is part of the course and the beauty of this golf course

WOW, what a course the Old course at Sunnigdale is. It is rated 2nd best in England and you can see why. A good test for Golfers of all levels, you don't need to be single figures to enjoy this stunning test

Well, what can you say that has not already been said. Everyone should play the Old Course at least once and September is a fantastic time of year. Will definitely look to play the new Course during 2011.

Played the New Course. Lovely setting and well looked after by the greens staff. The New Course is very tough if you stray from the fairway due to a huge amount of heather etc bordering nearly all fairways and carries. Thoroughly enjoyable days golf. Preffered the front nine to the back.

Very well looked after by all the staff, both couses were testing and in excellent condition. Food and beverage well above par. Excellent experience for golfers at above average standard.
