If you like the sound of planes taking off every 5 minutes & the rumble of the M1 in the background this is the course for you. Not at all bad, but not my first choice. Or second. Or third. etc

Shocking condition
I have fond memories of this course as I used to play it a lot coming from the area. They clearly haven't looked after this place during lockdown!!!Reviewer Rating

Rip Off
Booked online to play Stockwood Park on Bank Holiday Monday. Turned up on the day and was told the rate at which I'd booked the course was wrong and it would cost more to play. This was explained with a complete lack of courtesy and interest by the individual in the shop who claimed there had been a problem updating the website and there was nothing he could do and we would have to pay the higher rate.Not overly impressed, and then the problem with the customary lack of sand in the bunkers was reinforced by a group of kids being allowed to play football on the putting green opposite the first tee. Apparently there was nothing anyone at the club could do about that either

Just your typical council run course. Nothing special. Not worth £29.50p. Should be at least £10 cheaper.

ok
the course is pleasant enough and easy to get to just of teh M40 J8. Fairways are fair and most greeens too. Facilities are a bit run down but teh staff are very friendly.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 23.5)

greens were slow and had been spiked .The tees could be a lot better with some TLC didn't book through tee off times so wasn't good value .

course not to bad
try to cram to many people on and your left waiting for ages (6 hour + round)
staff very off hand and not bothered in dealing with you or any complaints you make.
