What the club says: Set in 140 acres of beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Staverton Park was opened in 1977 and has matured quickly. The 6,602 yard championship standard course has a number of lakes and over 60 bunkers peppered round it, while its large, suspended water table greens allow consistent play all year round. A good challenge to all levels of golfer, there is also a driving range available for a quick warm-up before your 18 holes.

Excellent venue but greens not so well cared for with weeds etc in. Can\'t fault rest

the course as always was in excellent condition, greens ran true..a little slow on back nine due to a comp.. on the 10th hole it is difficult to tell how far ahead the group in front are

Very enjoyable and well laid out course, good mix of holes and doglegs and hills makes you think about yardage rather than just pulling the driver out every time.

Huge bunkers are a test if you\'re not used to american style courses.

If you go at weekend they seem to pair you up to make a fourball as commented on below. Greens still playing slow also.

Course a bit muddy , but with all the rain we have had , must thank the groundsmen in there efforts to keep the course so playable , driving range out of use because they where unable to collect the balls , when booking here be careful as they do join you up with others to make a 4 ball .

Very well maintained course , if it looks like bad weather for round , please check with course as then insist on hedgehog wheels for buggys

the course was in very good condition no complaints at all.
the driving range was in poor condition (mats)
staff in the pro shop were very good.
restaurant - food expensive, which i dont mind as long as the service and food match the pricing. they dont !!!!!

Visitor Information

Visitors: Staverton Park is set in peaceful rolling countryside near Daventry but is also within easy access of the M1. With over 240 bedrooms, Staverton provides conference, training and seminar facilities, which are used by a range of blue chip companies for product launches, staff training and company days. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, solarium and gym as well as other activities such as volleyball and pool table. The self-contained clubhouse is conveniently located between the 9th and 10th holes and is a great place to relax with a drink on the patio after your round.
