Greens were a bit patchy. Staff not very helpful as we booked online but had no code and they wouldn't let us on until we had rung teetimes to recieve the code even though we had proof we had paid.

Not great, the greens were very poor, patchy and very dry as thou no water had been on them for weeks, the green staff had been cutting lots of hedging, but just not finish the job, club house great, will not rush back to play.

Very average, glad I only paid £15 twilights. Some long holes which are a test but pretty open. Fairways seemed to be cut a bit long, first cut of rough also. Greens were rock hard and ridiculous really. Pitched to the front of 5 from the rough and the ball rolled 20 yds off the back. Fairways too soft to pitch it in ant let it roll up though.

Tee to green I have no complaints. But the greens................It was like putting on Bridlington beach. This may be harsh but to pay what seemed liked full green fees I did not expect to putting on a large volume of sand and I certainly did not expect to play of mats at the par threes.
However I would like to go back when there has been a bit of growth and the greens to be smoother.
It's a shame we were not informed about the sand on the greens as we would have went elsewhere and tried this course more into the golfing season.
One other point I would like to make was that the lady behind the bar, Sue I think, was really friendly and chatty. Well done Sue!

played in glorious weather today but left very dissapointed ,,from tee to green course in great nick and good mix of holes ,,the greens however are shocking ,,greens should not be in this condition in april when the green fee is priced for summer...pitted bobbly and huge amounts of sand on them ,,made putting very difficult ,,also still of tee matts on par 3`s ,,if still playing winter rules don`t charge summer prices

Disappointing
Played a society competition on a Sunday: staff were friendly & helpful, but the course was something of a let-down. Greens were inconsistent, woolly and slow, and fairway grass was long; seemed the mowing hadn't been done for a few days. Having played here a couple of times in far better conditions, I felt let down. Coincidentally, I already have it booked for another society in a couple of weeks, and would hope to see some improvement.Reviewer Rating

Course was wet, not their fault. Good course would recommend and will play again. Definately NOT service with a smile at the Bar afterwards. The gum chewing server clearly wished he was somewhere else.
