cheerfull but not cheap!!! the course does not represent the green fees!! I understand it has 1 green keeper & "farm hands" used when needed???? not the standard or practice of any reputable quality golf club.. many municiple course in the area are in better condition yet dont charge the price of what scalm park do. A relatively young course but looks tired! fascilities old & worn! Tee box signs damaged & tatty, very few bins & ball cleaners. driving range is in need of updating/upgrading.. pro shop ok must say the pro scott very friendly , knowlegeable & helpful, however it is the first time in my career i have witnessed a golf professional selling potatoes & ceramics!!!! overall a relatively ok course (suite a beginner) but prices are way out regarding green fees !! you can pay a tiny bit more & play at much much better. staff very friendly & helpful it must be said.. quite a few dogs round your table/feet when eating aswel i noted.. not good

18 hole course, part of which backs onto wooland. The layout is encouraging and attractive. However, the fairways are pretty agricultural in places, revealing the original use of the land.
Good shop, selling full sets as well as consumable, with a good friendly pro. Range facility is ok but machines keep breaking down and I don't really trust the distance markers.
