Greens need a lot of attention. Too many dog walkers.

The course was in good conditon for the time of year. There is a few tricky holes but nothing to taxing. I am a 16 handicapper and I shot my lowest score of the year on here, 79. I dont take a lot from that though as a lot of the par 4s were quite short and the course is fairly easy. I was playing as a pair and we got stuck behind a 4 ball who were not very considerate when it came to letting us play through even though we had caught them by the 3rd hole. We eventually got through by the 7th, this was probably due to them not really understanding the rules of golf as they looked like they were begineers. I was also a bit surprised at the price, was ?20. I have played on a lot nicer courses nearer to my house for less money, even if that is with a military discount added. Ideal for begineers, for mid-low handicappers I would find another course to play.

Played a few times in the summer and the course was in good condition.The greens had just been sanded and the course just looked tired today. Will play again next spring so could not recommend to play now.

Some of the tee boxes are in dire need for repair . I was quite surprised at their state . Also , the bunkers are the worst we have witnessed of any courses in the borough , some with just a light covering of sand .

i was not at all impressed with the state of the fairways or the rough at ruislip as they were very poor . i dont know if they are waiting for HS2 to rip up their course but there is very little grass left to cut back . i will not be returning to play here or my friends , for that matter . ruislip used to be a nice course to play but it seems they do not care any longer . good riddance to it , i say

I know we have had a lot of rain but why cant the green keeper spike the fairways to lose some on the standing water on them. the use of mats should be banned as its not a true test. just move the tee to one side then it would even make it interesting for your members

Good course for a public course & price is reasonable.
Fairways in good condition but some greens look rough & patchy & some tee-off boxes look like your playing of dirt which is a shame. Course is overall good to play and can be challenging too.
We played from the whites as it's just 5,571 yards still short compared to most just over 6,000 yards you need to enhance your game. Yellow is 5,320 yards and ladies red is 5,141 yards.
Driving range is ok too for 50 or 100 balls.
Free parking after 9am & before that but you have to get a display card from the pro shop.
Sadly the course is suppose to be shutting down I heard in Sep/Oct time due to railway expansion.

Ruislip GC and H2. A match not made in heaven
With the H2 rail works ongoing Ruislip is taking a bit of a hit to the course. Holes 17 and 18 are now 1 and 2 with the rest of the course following on by 2 numbers, ie 1 is now 3, 2 is now 4, etc. Holes 3 and 4 are hampered by the H2 rail works and there is no putting green at present, but this may change. The course is holding up pretty well even after the recent rainfall over the past 2-3 weeks. The greens aren't bad and only a couple of fairways had puddles and standing water. All in all for ?14 on a weekday, its worth a visit before its totally decimated by H2.Reviewer Rating
