A very cheap round. 10 pounds after 3. Flat and quite forgiving (Round played: Sep 2014 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28)

Nice course, good for high handicappers as flat and fairly straight. Could do with a little tidy up on tee boxes as lots of rubbish from fellow golfers. Greens are true but can vary from fast to dead slow and some have lots of pitch mark not repaired by fellow golfers. As it is a public pay and play you can get stuck behind others which can extend your playing time. (Round played: Sep 2014 - Score: 91 Handicap: 22.4)

Very nice place to play golf, amazing driving range to practice or warm up on and a well maintained course, some very testing holes and a few that you can really attack, a joy to play

Good course for mid to high handicap to get practice. Fairly well kept and dry enough through the wet weather. Parklands course and pretty featureless.

I know we have had a lot of rain but why cant the green keeper spike the fairways to lose some on the standing water on them. the use of mats should be banned as its not a true test. just move the tee to one side then it would even make it interesting for your members (Round played: Mar 2014 - Score: 110 Handicap: 28)

Apart from being totally waterlooged, the green keepers have still managed to keep the course open. (Round played: Feb 2014 - Score: 83 Handicap: 13.4)

The course is very good for a council run course; the greens are fast and fairways good. The tees could do with better signage. (Round played: Sep 2013 - Score: 96 Handicap: )

I live local to Ruislip and have played this course many times over the years. Considering it is a council-run course it is in very good condition and the greenkeepers should be commended for the condition of the greens.

The course is a good test for both high and low handicaps with plenty of variation to each hole and for £10 during the week after 4pm it is fantastic value for money.

Without doubt the best municipal I've ever played. Greens rolled true and despite being a short course it offered a range of holes with different challenges. The course has a lot of streams and ditches running across the holes, mixed with severe dog legs making positioning key. Pub onsite was great value and the driving range had more bays than I could count and in very good condition. All in all a course offering exceptional value golf.

Kye COLE/LONDON UK rated 4 out of 5 - Jul 25 2013
This is a council run public course. However this is not immediately apparent. The course design is very interesting on the majority of the holes. The 3 par 5's are very rewarding with a straight tee shot. There is a nice collection of par 3's, two of which are quite long. There is also a good mixture of short and long par 4's.

The fairways are a little dry, after a month long heat wave, but they run true. The greens on the other hand are always in amazing condition, and are deceptively fast at times.

The 1st fairway has a ditch running across it that will collect a good 230 yard tee shot. Unless you can comfortably carry this distance, a layup with a mid iron is rewarding on this hole. Trust me on this!

The bar is big, with the usual "pub food" offerings. The pro shop is rather sparse, with very limited stock.

On the whole the course is great value for money during the summer months, however has potential for getting quite water logged during a wet winter.

Paul rated 3 out of 5 - Jul 20 2013
One of the much better run council courses, and it needs to be situated within 3-4 miles of 5 established members courses. The greens are very well kept, the fairways perfectly decent, the tee boxes could do with a spruce and a bit more signage welcome. The holes are varied and a fair challenge. Don't underestimate the par 3s they are long and well guarded and high h'caps will welcome the extra shots.
Reasonable value especially if you book online or are a borough resident. The clubhouse facilities are good, think pub food menu type place. Driving range high standard- deposit for rubber tees though?
Overall perfectly decent, don't overlook just because its a council one.
