The course was in good condition. Most of the greens are well protected by bunkers which made it challenging but not too difficult. Played after 3 O'Clock and only paid ?10 for 18 holes. Great value as have played at more expensive courses which weren't as good. Well worth it. Enjoyed playing there and would play again

Nice course with good driving range and facilities. Easy to get to opposite West Ruislip station and good value

My local course which I practice on, so I'm sure to be bias. A good mix of holes and well looked after for a council pay and play. Extremely good value at only £10 for twilight rounds.

My home course, so played it more than all the others I've ever seen added together. Not the longest, but has a reasonably high degree of difficulty, with ditches to catch you out and some fairly tight fairways requiring good accuracy of drives from tee and/or fairway. Greens aren't the largest you will ever see either, so that final approach shot has to be pretty accurate or you are getting your sand or pitching wedge out of the bag to get on the dancefloor if you can.

I play this course twice a week as a member of Dads Army Golf Soc. It has improved a lot in the last couple of months, having suffered from over-playing in the winter months, when it was far too wet. Drainage is always a problem and the ditches could do with clearing more often. The bunkers are particularly difficult, due to the minimal amount of sand, causing the club to 'bounce' into the ball. Having said that, it is good value for money. You must be accurate, as a mis-directed shot can be punished heavily. You also need to know when to go for it and when to lay up. Do not think that because it is relatively cheap and a municipal course, it will be easy to play. Ruislip GC can bite!

The course is now in very good condition, after having been more like a farmyard at times during the really wet winter and early spring months.
