Good value Public Course
Glendale continue to improve both courses. Both can suffer from drainage issues during wet weather but work is being undertaken to remedy this. Princes is shorter but has more varied holes. Dukes is longer and harder but suffers from a number of similar holes.Reviewer Rating

Definitely Worth a Visit
I'm a member of the golf club affiliated to this public course situated in the Royal Park so that should tell you I enjoy it. There are two courses - the easier, shorter but more undulating Princes and the longer, tougher but flatter Dukes. Both are in decent nick considering the amount of use they get. Both have recently benefitted from extensive work on their drainage systems. The clubhouse (with its living roof) offers a good selection of food and drink and there's a large outdoor area for the summer months. With green fees starting at around ?30 it's definitely good value for money and only a few miles from central London.Reviewer Rating

Good Golf Course
Good Golf Course. Hard off the tee. One thing I would say is people dont fix there pitch marks on the green which is not good.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 97 Handicap: 20.1)

Quite good for a municipal
Good variety of holes including a 225y par 3. Green were furry but reasonably quick. Second time we have played the Princes. Quite soft as we had lots of rain the previous day but course in quite good nick even so.Reviewer Rating

Just like years ago too many people allowed on with no idea of golf etiquette ie letting through faster players . ( 2hrs 20 mins to play 9 holes midweek )
Not worth the money - won’t be back .

Decent course, busy
Two courses here, both offer a good challenge for higher handicappers such as myself. Course is well maintained and the clubhouse is fine. Some nice vistas over the park. Enjoyed it a lot but play was a bit slow due to it being a course people are learning on.Reviewer Rating

Very good course yet needs some improvements
There should be golf marshalls going around to keep the rounds going smoother, the group three players ahead of me were sharing 2 sets of golf clubs and although they were driving a golf buggy, yet they would walk 30 to 50 yards from the buggy to hit a shot and walk back to the buggy! Also to remind some groups of four and three players that they should let one player to pass them if the speed of the group ahead of them allows.

Greens - so good!
Hadn't played here for a couple of years but revived memories of very many games over the years on a course where I first ever played. Did a ?twilight? on a glorious summer evening - so enjoyable. The rough is up currently so keeping in-play an absolute must. Once on the greens so impressive considering the footfall on Richmond Park golf courses. OK - so there are unrepaired pitch marks occasionally but these are courses to learn the game and etiquette and to grow to love the game of golf. Will be returning soon for sure.Reviewer Rating
