Fantastic pay & play course, great character. Would recommend to anyone. Lot of sand on greens but only to be expected at the moment. Some good deals at the moment, but definitely worth paying full price if no deals are available. Try the Club Sandwich after your round, excellent! I will be returning in the summer

Switch of venue proved to be very good.
Course was challenging with some nice holes/.
Greens were deceptive and tricky.
Nice to play somehwere new and enjoyed the day and facilities.

Pine Ridge is an enigma. On a quiet day, with the late sunshine through the pines, it has to be one the best municipals in the country. On a busy Saturday, with appalling course management from the stewards, it's a hell hole. First four holes are great (the second an excellent hole on any course) and the back nine are beautiful - short and quite easy to score very well on if you're playing well, but also able to ruin you if you're not. A really good public course, if only they wouldn't be so greedy and allow the too many people on at weekends.

Lovely course as there are very few side by side holes, most holes are individually carved out of the woods. Not a big ball loser unless you are badly off line from the tee, no lakes or water hazards. Not too difficult, not too easy.

Good looking course with many tree lined fairways. A fair test with good variation of holes. Errant drives are punished but generally could find your ball. Greens are in good nick, not overly quick but a shame that there were too many unrepaired pitch marks. Nice atmosphere in the clubhouse, food was standard, nothing to write home about but ok.

This golf course offers a standard playing experience with well-maintained greens and fairways. It's a good option for casual golfers looking for a straightforward round without too many challenges.

Great day out

Pine Ridge is in great shape considering the foul wet winter we had.
The greens were in really good shape. Fast and true
It’s just a shame the car park was overrun by a car club and we had to park several hundred yards down the fast main road which is quite dangerous to negotiate

Good course

In good condition given the weather, particularly the greens.
Currently very good value after 1pm and bit pricey before.

Hadn't played here in a while. Course was in good nick given the amount of recent rain. Greens were decent and rolled well. Surprisingly quiet for a Friday around 10ish when I teed off but got busier in the afternoon. Good value at £42. Coffee in the clubhouse seemed a bit pricey but decent sandwich and chips after the round. Will head back in the summer when it should be in really good condition.

Not at its best, greens good though

Disappointed as this course is normally well maintained and in good condition, grass on fairway was long, tee boxes worn and scruffy, bunkers just dreadful as hard based and little sand on top, almost impossible to play out. Greens were in good shape though. Normally really enjoy playing here.

Good

The course was in decent nic, not too busy greens slow but true. Some fairways a little sparse bunker freshly raked

Very slow play

Fairways have patchy grass. Greens long grass and slow. Pace of play terrible. Three groups on one tee. Marshal did nothing.

Great course but too busy

Seemed to be a huge number of societies playing. Very slow pace of play but no course Marshall to keep on top of things. A few very noisy groups with little regard for course etiquette.
