Tee times ruin this course, 4 minutes between tee times is a sure fire way to ruin a day. At one stage we were the 4th group waiting at the 4th Tee. All those that we spoke too were unhappy about it. Th emanagement need replacing, this is not a way to run a good course. It is just greed.

Play every year around April for a birthday round. This year the greens have been the worst I’ve seen. Patchy, hard and sandy. Tee boxes have also much to be desired: uneven, sandy, bald. Such a pity as it was one of my favourite courses in SW.
Friendly staff and good food though!

Enjoyable visit

Course in decent condition and playing well. Tall pine trees looking stunning as ever. Greens running a bit slow but otherwise generally good and just needed a cut, though we played late afternoon and presumably they're cut early morning. 4.5 hours to get round not ideal but just about ok on a sunny afternoon. Will return

In very poor condition and it would look as if there was no work done on the course during lockdown.

Lacking investment

I used to play round here regularly and while it could be slow the course itself was generally in good condition. Over the last year or so the bunkers have become almost unplayable, a large number of the fairways are in poor condition and we often found ourselves playing off mud. It's totally understood that we have had some pretty drastic weather conditions over the last couple of years but there's no real sign of attempts to make it better. The greens and tees are OK but other than mowing the grass it's not too clear what they're doing to get the fairways back to being playable.

Poor fairways and slow play

Paid £22 to play after 3pm today. The fairways were shocking, with barely any grass in some places. Took 2 hrs to play 7 holes. Gaps between tee off times need to be extended. Certainly not worth a full green fee. Give it a miss until maintenance improves.

Not at it's best

Thcourse has the potential to be amazing and although the greens were in good condition, the fairways and bunkers need some attention. Appreciate it's been a toiugh season but compared to other courses they were in bad condition.

Walked off after 9

Played this course many times over the years but I think this will be the last time. Greens were very good but the fairways were very hard and bare in many places. Due to previous hand issues I couldn't play more than 9 holes as every shot from the fairway was painful.

okay

Very dry conditions so very hard fairways although greens were okay but not quick.
Noticed a fair amount of litter on the course, beer cans etc. but also lots of broken Tees on the tees.

Ultra Slow

Play was very, very slow even starting at 7am. The course was short and forgiving with some nice holes on the back 9. Other players were not at all friendly.
