norton is a good course some challangeing holes and some hazards to avoid especially hole nine over the water and hole11 which is very long for beginers and should be a par 5 lol. the only problem i have is there is a lot of standing water on the course when even there has been a little rain the drainage could be better which is being done to a point.

Facilities are lacking, there is literally just a kiosk to pay at and a fridge with soft drinks but otherwise this is a cracking course; challenging in places and provides plenty of exercise!

The highlight has to be the 4th hole in which the green is hidden behind trees. You have to either play around the trees into a very narrow gap (out of bounds one side, trees the other) or play directly over the trees. Players then ring a bell when leaving the green so the next group knows the green is clear.

Typical pay & play, just what youd expect, nice enough course, usually in pretty decent nick, reasonable price. Nothing fancy but it does the job for a round when you fancy just turning up.

Very picturesque parkland course, generally well maintained. No booking necessary. It's a tricky course with many trees and two main water hazards. No clubhouse, bar or changing facilities. Great if you just want to play golf without having to book. By the way - it's quite hilly!
