Typical pay & play, just what youd expect, nice enough course, usually in pretty decent nick, reasonable price. Nothing fancy but it does the job for a round when you fancy just turning up.

Golf course review of Norton Golf Club

Very picturesque parkland course, generally well maintained. No booking necessary. It's a tricky course with many trees and two main water hazards. No clubhouse, bar or changing facilities. Great if you just want to play golf without having to book. By the way - it's quite hilly!

WINTER REVIEW

awful,the course should be closed, its soaking wet, fairways and greens in very poor condition,close to unplayable when your ball keeps plugging in wet mud

very cheap course and pretty tricky with some very fun holes. worth a look but has no buggies, trollies, bar or practise area. Nice course though!

Pay and play course in Norton, Stockton. Can get very busy on weekends and friday afternoons. Interesting course with some tricky holes, and is normally kept in very good condition. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. No clubhouse on the course only a reception to pay, soft drinks are available. The facilities are basic but the golf makes up for it. Last played August 07.

Just like George said you cannot miss a gem of a course like this where you can just turn up on the day and pay your 12quid, and not have to mess around with booking times etc. We do a round trip of over 60 miles to play here. Worth every penny. Other than a small shop and toilets there are no other facilities to note, but the staff are very friendly and watch out for the Headstone next to the tree on the 18th!!!!!!!!!!!!
