Not worth the money
Played this course recently but will not play it again.The greens were awful with bare rough patches making putting a lottery, Cow muck on the fairways, not nice when your ball rolls in it!. If your ball rolls into the rough you probably won’t find it.

Greens very hard, ball shoots through. Nice to see a bit of grass on the fairways though.

Quite a featureless course and near impossible to read distances makes club selection tricky. A couple of very nice par 3's. Greens are pretty average. It's a public common, so in fairness you shouldn't expect the highest standards.

Pleasant autumn afternoon

My most local course, classic old common land course, not as good as it was due to safety improvements but lovely on a nice day and at the right time of year.

Very dry and hard. Greens quick and a little bumpy. Unforgiving if you make a mistake.
