Brilliant value for money as offering 2 for 1 during August by using voucher on website. lovely little course ideal for the amateur player. Well maintained but beware of the rough. Great fun and can be round in no time. Will definitely be back.

This is a municipal course in the middle of Middleton Park. As such it does suffer a bit from oiks, but overall a pretty fair test of skill (although short) with signature holes the par four 13th dogleg right over a valley, the difficult par 4 15th all uphill, and very short par 3 16th over trees and valley. Go on give it a go

Played the course on Rabbits Captains Day when you'd of thought course would be at its best. It's future is in doubt but the condition of the course was like it's been closed for 6 months or more. Uncut tee boxes, fairways and greens a cabbage farmer would be proud of. Only £16 but after playing you'd expect £15 change.

Been playing this course for many years and would recommend it to all levels of golfer. Even though to the big hitters amongst you it may seem short it is still a challenging course that I'm sure you will enjoy. Ball position and accuracy is the key on this pleasant park land course. Enjoyable well kept greens that would not be out of place on many private courses. All year round golf at an affordable price.

a good course which you can fly around, in no time. It is short and the fairways are large. Perfect for a beginner or someone (like me) trying to get my confidence up. For £12 you can't complain. Take it for what it is and you'll have an enjoyable round.

this is a good course with large fairways. It is very easy to lose your balls if they go off the fairways and you think they should be easy to find. this is frustrating. the 16th hole is interesting as you are teeing off blind through the trees but overall I enjoy this course and the value for money

Great course for anyone starting to play golf or returning from a long time off. Very forgiving with it's wide fairways but does have some very tricky holes. Would recommend going with someone who has played the course before, as there are no directions to your next hole and a few holes have a hike through woodland paths between them. As local authority courses go this is very good and recommended for value for money ( £15 for a Saturday ) , no waiting at holes...very enjoyable, would definately play again.

Course was in generally good condition - the fairways were good overall, most of the greens had been cut - some were slow, some were fast
