Getting better
Course is drying out now after the abysmally wet winter. Wettest on the holes around the clubhouse (1st, 9th & 18th) Some of the rough on these holes is still a little boggy, I suppose that's expected on such a flat layout however keep the ball relatively straight and you won't have that problem. Rest of the course is great and some improvements to the course are still being made. Recommended.Reviewer Rating

The green have previously been hollow tined but the holes haven't been fill in which leaves the greens very bumpy and very difficult to have any confidence on the greens. As other contributors have stated there are some significant works being undertaken at present.
It's a shame really because the shop and bar staff are very friendly. I will not be visiting this course again as there are far far better courses around the area.

Steve
Played Saturday 26th June. Course was in excellent condition. Fairways good with 2 cuts to rough which was even all over. Greens in great condition with true roll. Pace of play good 4hrs round. Value for money ,worth a visit. If i can find one negative changing rooms are more like the green keepers lodge needs addressing.Reviewer Rating

Got potential
I know 2 members so get invited most weeks. This course has the ability to become a real gem but it's extremely tatty round the edges. Can be very wet & muddy the Cart paths are dreadful & not suitable for wheeling a normal trolley down them shame really as it would cut footfall on fairways when wet. Layout I find excellent good drive gives you mid iron into number of holes par 5,s reachable in 2 for big hitters par 3,s two quite challenging one with water in front can be card wrecker. With a lot more investment in greens, sprinkler system & serious drainage work then it would become a real gemReviewer Rating

Disappointed
Played on 23/3/19 told we were on winter greens on the 9th 10th and 11th teed of on the 9th to be told by club members that 9 10 and 11 were out of play. Got charged 17.00 pounds to play 15 holes the lady on the desk knocked 1 pound off normal fee very disappointed will not be back for a long while.Reviewer Rating

I have to be 100% honest, the greens were very poor, very patchy & bobbly, which is disappointing as they let down what could be a lovely little course.
