What the club says: Leckford has two 9-hole courses, the Old Course 6276 yards par 72 and the New Course 4546 yards par 66. The Old Course is set in approximately 100 acres of rolling Hampshire downland which forms part of the famous Test Valley. The course was designed in the early 1930s by Harry S Colt who also designed many of the UK's famous golf courses, such as Wentworth, Muirfield, Royal Lytham and St Anne's.

Leckford Old Golf Course can be found close to the market town of Stockbridge, just a little north/east of Winchester. Designed by Harry Colt in 1929 it has been described by many as one of the finest nine-hole courses in the country. It features nine greens with 18 tees.

The Old Course is a tough but fair test. Despite being a 9 holer , the two sets of tees really make the holes very different.

Two 9 hole courses we only played the old course and was very impressed with the condition no temporary greens or tee boxes.
Clubhouse is functional but no catering or bar available just a vending machine for coffee and snacks this should not put you off if you get a chance to play this little gem.
