The Hampshire Golf Course is a well designed course with very few straight forward holes. Although not the most challenging, the frequent doglegs and strategically placed bunkers to catch your drives and approach shots all add up to make an interesting and tricky round.

Location: By Road - From London Take M3 south, towards Basingstoke and Southampton. At Junction 8 take A303 west towards Andover. After approximately 12 miles turn off A303 onto A3057, signed to Stockbridge and Wherwell. At T-junction, turn right, towards Wherwell and Goodworth Clatford. The Club is approximately ½ mile on the left. By Road - From Southampton Take M3 north towards London. At M3 junction 9 follow A34 north towards Newbury. After approximately 8 miles turn left onto A303 towards Andover. After approximately 6 miles turn off A303 onto A3057 signed Stockbridge and Wherwell. At T-junction turn right towards Wherwell and Goodworth Clatford. The Club is approximately ½ mile on the left. By Road - From the West Take A303 East towards Andover. Turn off A303 onto A3057 signed to Stockbridge and Wherwell. At T-junction turn left towards Wherwell and Goodworth Clatford. The Club is approximately ½ mile on the left.

Good course, although greens can be a bit patchy. Interesting front 9, back 9 less so. Good welcome in pro-shop. Very much a "mixed ability" course - nobody would feel out of place here. Good value overall.

played course 07/12/2011. ground very dry the chalk base certainly dries out fast. Course in very good condition and greens fabulous. Well done the green keepers.

Great open course allowing for some chances to be taken.Well drained with open fairways and many long holes.Great for beginners as it allows you to take some chances you normally wouldnt.

Great little par 3 let down by poor condition of greens dug up by rabbits.

Course has great potential, great setting. However course dry, Tees need alot of work to recover from a hard winter. Greens dressed, but unfortunately with small stones in the sand. Would play again with better conditions.

Very open but still very young and therefore still developing. Was in good condition with greens running true. It was very windy when i played but the course is situated on top of a hill so will always be windy. Good practise facilities with a short 9 hole par 3 course. On my arrival was made to feel welcome but would not rush back there.
