A really lovely course and a bargain at £10 on the twilight rate.
Front 9 have some wde fairways with varying topogrpahy; back nine get tighter and bring in more hazards. 13 is a killer double dog-leg with a lake in the middle.
Greens were in great shape and the course overall was superbly maintained.
Would higly recommend a visit.

drainage is much improved ,still a lttle soggy .Greens were good ,bunkers need more sand .

played saturday, booked through Teeofftimes.co.uk, warm welcome, good value front 9 fairly open and a little plain, although the back nine is totally different much tighter, better greens, interesting layout. would happily play it again...

An outstanding golf course,well kept fairways and greens.We actually arrived an hour late for our booked round and they fitted us in straight away we had no trouble hiring a buggy.IT is a testing course for high handicappers with several narrow fairways and water hazards dotted around the course,but if you like a challenge this is definetly one too play.
I cannot wait to go again and would have no hesitation in recomending a visit.

Today I came out and played this course, it's obvious from the first look that this course is going through some changes at the moment as it had gone into receivership, and after several weeks nothing was done to the course and was left to get very overgrown. The new owners have been working tirelessly in trying to get the course back up to standard and are doing a very good job. All of the course is a work in progress and I'm sure it will back to a very good standard soon. Only 9 holes were open today and the back 9 should be open this weekend. I enjoyed my round as I found it challenging on a number of holes, the greens are still a bit patchy but they are in an ok condition.
I would recommend this course to anyone.

Having played Issak Walton on Sunday 19th March with some friends, I have to say how very disappointed I was. The grass on the tee off was long all over and lumpy. The fairway was not much different to the ruff in places and the greens were awful, they were patchy, lumpy and I feel uncared for. The price of £12.50 was extortionate for such a poor coarse of 9 holes. I will not be playing there again.

The greens at izaak were so slow you had lo hit the ball relay hard they needed a cut don't think they had been cut for days
