Barlaston Golf Club
The course, a par 68 over 5,800 yards long, never plays the same on morning and afternoon rounds, so don’t expect an easy day. Take a look at some of the Super Challenges that face you in the rolling meadow land at Barlaston.
OK! Nearly forgot to mention the water. It’s there to greet you between the Second and Fifth, and is no friend to the slicers, hookers, or wayward drivers. It’s not just the Trent to the left, but the ponds and ditches you meet on the way. Now, we come to the hard part,
SWAMPY !!!!, a 418 yards dog leg left with a difference. It’s a brave shot for the lower handicapper to the delightful green. And still the same challenge for the high handicapper with his third.
Then there’s the Lake, just waiting to catch you out. If it doesn’t, then make your way to the splendid green that awaits you.

very good course with first four or fives along the river trent. excellent condtion but had to play off the roughest mat youve ever seen on the first!! didnt use clubhouse so cant comment but seemed a friendly club. £17.50 with 2-4-1
