Hilltop Golf Club
Wide open fairways which on a windy day can test even the professional golfer. The 7th, a long par 3 at 214 yards across a yawning valley is especially difficult into a prevailing head wind.
The three long par 5's are potential birdie opportunities but require a long drive and accurate rolling second shot. Handy 150 yards to go marker posts are located on each hole to guide golfers into the green but you need to think carefully about club selection as the wind can blow hard. Most of the greens are surrounded by mounds to draw in approach shots.Contact Information

Hilltop is a municipal in the west brom area, playing a decent yardage and offering a stern test if you miss the fairways (the rough is thick and tough) but the ability to shoot very low scores exists if you hit the ball straight, very little hazard in play if you do so (no water, sparsely bunkered fairways, decently protected greens).

Another Birmingham municipal. Overall the course was in reasonable condition.
Clubhouse is a little basic.
If you like your courses rough and ready when no pretentions, then this is for you.
