This picturesque course is situated on the hillside overlooking the historic town of Henley-in-Arden and provides a fair test to all handicappers. The local scenery has been encapsulated beautifully to create a track that uses undulating fairways, fast greens and water features to challenge golfers. With wide fairways you're able to go for it off the tee, but placement is key for your approach shot.

Location
Location: M40 from the North Exit at Junction 16, take the A3400 to Henley-in-Arden. M40 from the South Exit at Junction 15 and take the signs to Stratford-on-Avon. Immediately access the right hand lane and take the sign for Henley and Norton Lindsey. At the lights in Henley turn right and the club is one mile on the left hand side as you leave the town.

If you go there and don`t expect much from the course you will enjoy your day. Greens and tees in average condition, Course plays short in summer and very long in winter due to clay based fairways. professional extremly helpful and off course excellent. For me they need to spend a few more quid on the course and ratings would improve. I would suggest a great course for 18+ handicaps

played this course on a special offer between 2-3pm weekdays £50 per tee time ie £12.50 per person if 4 play nice looking course looks open but lots of new trees have been planted however greens were poor very very hard like putting on tarmac fast but bobbily and around some greens was patchy if this was addressed the course would be very nice however 4 £12.50 for round it was good value

Fairways not the best.
Lot of bells to ring - one fell off and nearly bust my fingers off the 11th !

The course is playing really well, always a fairly dry course, well draining. The fairways are in excellent condition with nicely graded rough in place for the course championship narrowing the normally wide course. Greens as always are running very fast, in superb condition. The course is coming into its summer bounce, where firm sub strata and light moss covering give the ball a real kick from some of the higher shots. DX soft and So/los always help. The course is barely recognizable from 2 years ago with some rapidly maturing trees adding some extra difficulty in summer. Great course.

The course is ok. Not a great deal of trouble round the place but some long par 3's and 4's make it a challenge. When i went round the fairways were in shocking condition. If some time was spent maintaining the fairways then this would be one of my favourite courses. The greens were awesome. Really fast pace and well keep. Bunkers were brilliant. really well positioned and the sand was actually sand which was rare.
Overall good but could be amazing if they sort those fairways out.
