Course has a good setup but the fairways were very poor. It looks like they have just left the championship course and concentrated on the Hawkstone. If the fairways were in better condition it would be a good test but cleaning mud off your ball on every shot gets a bit much.

Lovely course. EXCEPT the bunkers. They are rubbish. NO sand. Greens were excellent.

Ok course wouldn't class as championship course only 3 holes worthy of that really.

The course was excellent but the £30 charge for a buggy is too high. The clubhouse is good with balcony and nice views but for £5 for a ploughmans sandwich which constituted some grated cheese and pickle between 2 pieces of sliced bread was also a bit steep.

Hawkstone course was good for time of year but Championship course was boggy and full of leaves and in my opinion should have been closed.

course was in good condition. Greens very fast and some were very difficult to read. First 6 holes seemed a bit squashed in some fairways were very close but the course then opens up. Overall a nice course with a good mix of holes. No boot cleaning facilities !

Great Weekend
Unfortunately a light drizzle took the shine off what would have been a great day. A wonderful parkland course with plenty of hazzards set in places to make you really think about your next shot. Picking up a course book is a must.Reviewer Rating
